Yes, there are several holiday markets in Baton Rouge. The annual Christmas Bazaar at the First United Methodist Church and the Christmas Market at the LSU Ag Center are both popular holiday markets. There are also smaller markets in various stores and shops throughout the city.

The date of the Baton Rouge Christmas Parade changes each year, but it usually takes place in early December. The 2021 parade will take place on December 4th.

Christmas is my favorite time of the year and Baton Rouge knows how to celebrate it right! One activity that I always look forward to is taking a drive through the neighborhoods to see the beautiful Christmas lights. Some houses go all out with their decorations and it's such a joy to see. Another thing I love doing is attending the Old Governor's Mansion holiday tours. The mansion is decorated so beautifully and it's fascinating to learn about its history. And of course, indulging in the delicious holiday treats from local bakeries and restaurants is a must! Baton Rouge offers so many festive things to do during Christmas season.

As a Baton Rouge native, I absolutely love all the Christmas festivities in our city! One of my favorite things to do during the holidays is attending the Festival of Lights downtown. The beautiful light displays and live music really get me in the holiday spirit. Another must-do activity is ice skating at the Baton Rouge River Center.
