While staying near Fort Sam Houston, I made sure to explore the surrounding area. One of my favorite things to do was visit the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park. The park has several mission sites that date back to the 18th century and provide a fascinating glimpse into the region's history. Another great spot nearby is the Japanese Tea Garden, which features stunning landscapes and a tranquil atmosphere. Overall, I was impressed with the variety of attractions and activities available near Fort Sam Houston.
