I've been living in Birmingham for a few years now and I can confidently say that there are plenty of free things to do in this city. One of my go-to activities is hiking at the Red Mountain Park. The park has beautiful trails that offer stunning views of the city. Another favorite of mine is visiting the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute.
