Another fun thing to do in Carlsbad is visiting the Brantley Lake State Park. Whether you want to go hiking, bird watching, or just lounge by the lake, this park has it all. I recently visited Carlsbad, NM and had a blast exploring the fun activities the city has to offer. One of my favorite things to do was exploring the Carlsbad Caverns National Park. The underground caves were absolutely breathtaking and I couldn't believe the natural beauty I was witnessing. Another fun activity I enjoyed was visiting the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens State Park. It was so cool seeing all the different plant and animal species in their natural habitat. Carlsbad, NM truly has something for everyone!

If you're traveling with kids, Carlsbad, NM is a great destination! One fun activity we did with our children was visiting the Carlsbad Water Park. The slides and pools were a hit with the whole family and we had a great time splashing around. Another kid-friendly activity we enjoyed was visiting the Pecos River Beach Park. The kids loved playing in the sand and splashing in the river. Carlsbad, NM is definitely a family-friendly destination with plenty of fun things to do for all ages!
