Additionally, Marriott offers Hotel + Air Travel Packages, which include a 7-night hotel stay plus a certain number of airline miles. While you can't use your Marriott Bonvoy points to purchase these packages, you will earn points and elite night credits for your stay.

Marriott Cruises, powered by Cruise with Points, allows members to use their Marriott Bonvoy points to book cruises. Members can search for cruises using parameters like destination, cruise length, travel dates, cruise line, cruise ship, or departure port.

To book a cruise using Marriott Bonvoy points, members can call 800-596-0452 from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. EST. They can redeem points for a cruise certificate to be used as partial payment or pay for the entire cruise with their points. Regardless of the option chosen, they will get 0.4 cents per point in value.

Booking Flights and Car Rentals with Marriott Bonvoy Points

Marriott Bonvoy members can also use their points to book flights and car rentals. They can use their points or a combination of points and cash to pay for air tickets and car rentals with more than 250 airlines and car rental companies.

Earning Marriott Bonvoy Points on Cruises

If members decide not to use their Marriott Bonvoy points for a cruise, they can still book through Marriott Cruises to earn 3 Marriott Bonvoy points per $1 spent, in addition to any points earned from their credit card.

However, there is a non-refundable $24.99 processing fee charged when booking through Marriott Cruises, which is only displayed at the end of the booking process. This fee should be considered when determining whether booking through Marriott Cruises is worth it.
