When most people think of Magic Kingdom, the first things that spring to mind are the iconic castle, thrilling rides, and beloved characters like Mickey Mouse and Cinderella. But did you know that there are some hidden gems in the park that not everyone knows about? One of these secret things to do at Magic Kingdom is the shooting gallery in Frontierland.

Located behind Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe, the Frontierland shooting gallery is an old-fashioned attraction that lets you try your hand at shooting targets with a pellet gun. While it's not the most high-tech or thrilling experience in the park, it's a lot of fun and a great way to pass the time between fast passes and character meetings.

To participate in the shooting gallery, you'll need to purchase a pack of pellets at the entrance, which cost around $2.50 for 35 shots. Once you're armed and ready, take your place in front of one of the many targets that are scattered throughout the gallery. You'll need to shoot at a variety of objects, including animals, bottles, and lanterns, while trying to rack up as many points as possible.

Of course, the real joy of the shooting gallery isn't necessarily in winning prizes or beating high scores, but in the experience itself. The attraction is housed in an old-timey building that feels like it's straight out of the Wild West, with wooden planks, hitching posts, and other rustic details. The sound of the guns firing and the sight of your pellets hitting the targets is both satisfying and entertaining.

For kids (and kids at heart) who love all things cowboy and adventure, the Frontierland shooting gallery is a must-see attraction. It's also a great way to take a break from the crowds and noise of the busier areas of the park, while still getting that classic Disney experience. So the next time you're at Magic Kingdom, make sure to add the shooting gallery to your list of things to do – you won't regret it!
