You are welcome to bring your own fishing equipment to Dogwood Canyon, as long as it complies with the Missouri State fishing regulations. However, if you do not have your own gear, you can rent it from the Dogwood Canyon Gift Shop.

The best time to visit Dogwood Canyon for nature and wildlife observation is early morning or late afternoon. During these times, you are more likely to spot deer, wild turkeys, foxes, and other animals in their natural habitats. Additionally, the cooler temperatures make it easier for outdoor activities such as hiking and fishing.

As a nature lover, Dogwood Canyon was a dream come true for me. The park offers a variety of activities for outdoor enthusiasts, from hiking and horseback riding to fishing and wildlife viewing. I especially enjoyed the guided tram tour, where a knowledgeable guide pointed out all the interesting plants and animals along the way.
