Some popular attractions on the way from Houston to San Antonio include The Alamo, San Antonio River Walk, Space Center Houston, Natural Bridge Caverns, and The Menil Collection.

Visitors can go kayaking on the San Marcos River or tubing in the Guadalupe River. There are also hiking trails at Cibolo Nature Center and Enchanted Rock State Natural Area.

I've traveled between Houston and San Antonio multiple times and there are always new things to discover. One hidden gem I stumbled upon was the Bluebell Creamery in Brenham. They offer tours of their ice cream production facility, and I got to sample some of their delicious flavors. Another must-visit spot is the Texas Renaissance Festival in Plantersville. It's a great way to step back in time and experience the magic of the Middle Ages. Whether it's your first time or you've done the drive before, there's always something new to explore on the road between Houston and San Antonio!
