Ashe County is such a charming place with so much to offer. During my visit, I made sure to spend some time strolling through the charming downtown area of West Jefferson. There were so many cute shops and local boutiques to explore, and I even found some unique souvenirs to take home. Another highlight of my trip was taking a scenic drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The views were absolutely stunning, especially during the fall when the leaves were changing colors. And for my fellow history buffs, I definitely recommend checking out the famous Dr. Pepper Museum in Jefferson. It was fascinating to learn about the history of this iconic beverage!
