And of course, no visit to Ballard is complete without trying the famous pastries at one of the local bakeries. The smell alone was heavenly and the taste lived up to the hype. Ballard was such a great place to visit! I loved exploring the farmers market and trying all the amazing food vendors. The seafood selection was out of this world! After that, I took a leisurely stroll through the Ballard Locks and watched the boats pass through. It was such a unique experience to see how the locks actually work. Finally, I ended my day by enjoying a delicious craft beer at one of the local breweries. Ballard definitely has a lot to offer for a fun and memorable day!

One of my favorite things to do in Ballard is to rent a kayak and paddle along the beautiful Shilshole Bay. The views of the mountains and the water are absolutely breathtaking. There are also some hidden beaches along the way where you can stop and relax. After working up an appetite, I always make sure to stop by one of the waterfront restaurants for some delicious seafood. The fresh flavors and scenic views make for a perfect dining experience. Ballard truly is a gem in Seattle and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable day out.
