As a parent living in Birmingham, AL, I can't stress enough how many amazing things there are to do with kids here. From exploring the McWane Science Center, where they can learn and have fun at the same time, to visiting the Birmingham Zoo, where they can see all kinds of animals up close, there's never a dull moment. I highly recommend taking them to Moss Rock Preserve, where they can hike, explore nature, and even find some hidden waterfalls. And of course, a visit to the Vulcan Park and Museum is a must, where they can learn about the history of Birmingham and enjoy the breathtaking view from the Vulcan statue. Trust me, your kids will love every bit of these activities.
