As a local parent, I can't recommend the Boise Zoo enough for a fun day out with the kids. Not only is it affordable, but they have a great variety of animals that my children love to see. Plus, there's a playground area where they can burn off some energy. We always pack a picnic and make a day of it. It's definitely one of the must-do activities in Boise for families.
