I recently visited Carrollton, Ohio and had such a great time exploring all the things to do in the area. One of my favorite activities was hiking at Leesville Lake State Park. The trails were beautiful and the views of the lake were breathtaking. After my hike, I visited the Carroll County Historical Society Museum and learned so much about the rich history of the area. I also made sure to stop by Canterbury Golf Club for a round of golf. The course was well-maintained and provided a fun challenge. Carrollton, Ohio definitely has something for everyone, from outdoor enthusiasts to history buffs!

I just came back from a weekend getaway in Carrollton, Ohio and I can't recommend it enough. One of the highlights of my trip was visiting the Algonquin Mill Complex. It's a charming historic village with a working grist mill and lots of interesting exhibits. I also had the chance to visit the Ashtabula Covered Bridge, which is the longest covered bridge in Ohio. The architecture was amazing and it made for the perfect backdrop for some great photos. To top it off, I had dinner at the Canal Street Diner, a local favorite known for its delicious comfort food. Carrollton, Ohio is a hidden gem that I can't wait to visit again!
