I had the most amazing time in Chadron, NE last summer! If you're looking for something unique to do, I highly recommend taking a scenic drive along the Pine Ridge National Recreation Area. The landscapes are so beautiful, and there are several overlooks where you can stop and take in the view. Another highlight for me was visiting the Mari Sandoz High Plains Heritage Center. It's a small museum dedicated to the life and works of Mari Sandoz, a renowned Nebraska author. The exhibits are well-curated and provide a fascinating insight into the region's history and culture. Chadron truly exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to go back and explore more of what it has to offer.
