If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, I highly recommend visiting Darien, GA. One of the highlights of my trip was kayaking through the Altamaha River. The calm waters and the beautiful scenery made for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I also took a guided tour of Hofwyl-Broadfield Plantation, which provided a fascinating glimpse into the state's history. The plantation's gardens were absolutely stunning. And of course, no visit to Darien would be complete without indulging in some fresh seafood. The local restaurants served up the most delicious oysters and shrimp.
