One of the best ways to experience Bald Mountain is by hiking to the summit. The trail is a 3.2-mile long loop trail that winds through aspen groves and offers breathtaking views of the Royal Street ski run, mountainside forests, and panoramic vistas of the Wasatch range. The trail is moderately challenging, with a 2,300-foot elevation gain, and it takes approximately three hours to complete the hike. Proper hiking boots, water, and snacks are essential for this hike, and hikers are recommended to begin the hike early in the morning to avoid the midday heat.

For those who love the outdoors but prefer not to hike, Bald Mountain offers two scenic chairlift rides. The Silver Lake Express chairlift and the Sterling Express chairlift provide visitors with a relaxed and effortless journey to the top, where they can enjoy the view and take in the fresh mountain air. The chairlift rides are available from late May to early September, and the cost is around $20 per person.

Another fantastic way to experience Bald Mountain is by mountain biking. The mountain offers over 70 miles of trails of varying difficulty levels for mountain biking enthusiasts to explore. The trails wind through aspen and pine forests, feature steep climbs and thrilling descents and offer scenic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Bike rentals are available near the base, and visitors can also choose to take guided mountain bike tours.

During the winter, Bald Mountain is a hub of activities for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts. The mountain features over 100 ski runs and 21 chairlifts, which offer visitors unparalleled access to some of the best skiing and snowboarding in the world. The mountain's variety of terrain makes it suitable for both beginner and advanced skiers and snowboarders, and the resort's state-of-the-art facilities offer visitors the ultimate skiing experience.

Aside from skiing, snowboarding, and mountain biking, Bald Mountain also offers visitors a chance to relax and unwind. The mountain has several restaurants and bars that offer delicious meals, drinks, and snacks, making it an ideal place to rest and recharge after a long day of activities. Visitors can also take in the mountain's stunning views from the comfort of their accommodation, as many of the hotels, lodges, and homes are situated on the mountain.

In conclusion, Bald Mountain is a must-visit destination for people who love the outdoors, adventure, and breathtaking views. Whether hiking to the summit, taking a chairlift ride, mountain biking, skiing, or snowboarding, the mountain's activities cater to all levels of adventurers. With its natural beauty, stunning vistas, and endless activities, Bald Mountain is an experience not to be missed.
