During our visit to Duluth, we made sure to check out the Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center. Our kids were fascinated by the huge ships and boats on display, and they even got to climb aboard a few of them. The staff were friendly and offered interesting information about the history of the Great Lakes shipping industry. Plus, the visitor center is located right on the waterfront, so we were able to enjoy beautiful views of Lake Superior while we were there.

If your family loves outdoor adventures, you have to try the North Shore Scenic Railroad in Duluth. We took a ride on the historic train and it was such a unique experience for our kids. They were able to see picturesque scenery along Lake Superior while learning about the history of the railroad.
