I recently visited Fort Portal and I was blown away by the stunning natural beauty of the area. One of my favorite things to do was visiting the Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru caves. The stalactites and stalagmites inside the caves were simply breathtaking, and the local folklore attached to them made the experience even more interesting. I also enjoyed exploring the nearby Kibale National Park, where I got the chance to go on a thrilling chimpanzee trek. Overall, Fort Portal is a hidden gem in Uganda and there is no shortage of things to do and see.

Fort Portal is a must-visit destination if you're looking for a peaceful and laid-back experience in Uganda. One of the highlights of my trip was visiting the Tooro Palace, which offers a fascinating insight into the area's history and culture. The architecture of the palace is beautiful and I highly recommend taking a guided tour to learn more about the royal family. Another activity that I enjoyed was taking a leisurely walk around the crater lakes that surround the town.
