Yes, you can swim in Echo Lake and Profile Lake in Franconia Notch State Park. However, there are no lifeguards on duty, so swimming is at your own risk.

The main scenic drive through Franconia Notch State Park is the Franconia Notch Parkway, which offers stunning views of the White Mountains. The Kancamagus Highway is also nearby and is another popular scenic drive.

Other activities available in Franconia Notch State Park include fishing in the lakes, picnicking at various picnic areas, rock climbing, and cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter.

I recently visited Franconia Notch State Park and it was absolutely breathtaking! The park offers so many amazing things to do. I highly recommend taking a hike on the Flume Gorge Trail. The views are incredible and the gorge itself is such a natural wonder. Another must-do activity is riding the aerial tramway to the top of Cannon Mountain. The panoramic views of the surrounding mountains are simply stunning. Franconia Notch State Park is a true gem in New Hampshire and I can't wait to go back!

My family and I had an incredible time exploring Franconia Notch State Park. One of our favorite activities was visiting the Basin. It's a natural pothole formed by the Pemigewasset River and it's absolutely beautiful. We also enjoyed hiking around Echo Lake and taking a dip in the crystal-clear water. The park offers so many scenic trails for all levels of hikers. Be sure to also check out the Old Man of the Mountain Museum to learn about the park's history. Franconia Notch State Park is a must-visit destination for nature lovers!
