I recently visited Gainesville, GA and was pleasantly surprised by all the things to do in this charming town! The main square is filled with quaint shops and local restaurants, perfect for a leisurely afternoon stroll. I also enjoyed exploring the beautiful Lake Lanier, where I rented a paddleboard and spent a relaxing day on the water. If you're a history buff like me, you'll definitely want to check out the Northeast Georgia History Center, where I learned about the area's rich past.
