I recently spent a weekend in Glastonbury, CT and was pleasantly surprised by all the wonderful things to do in the area. One of my favorite activities was exploring the beautiful trails at the Cotton Hollow Nature Preserve. The peacefulness of the woods and the sounds of the running water were just what I needed to relax and reconnect with nature. Another highlight was visiting the historic Welles-Shipman-Ward House. The knowledgeable tour guides provided fascinating insight into the history of the area, and the well-preserved rooms gave me a glimpse into life in the 18th century. Overall, Glastonbury, CT is a hidden gem with plenty of activities for nature lovers and history enthusiasts alike.
