I recently visited Independence, MO and had the most incredible time exploring all the interesting things to do in the area. One of my favorite activities was visiting the Harry S. Truman Presidential Library and Museum. It was fascinating to learn about Truman's life and presidency and see artifacts from his time in office. Another highlight of my trip was visiting the Historic Independence Square. The square is full of charming shops, boutiques, and restaurants, and it was the perfect place to spend an afternoon shopping and eating. Lastly, I made sure to visit the National Frontier Trails Museum, which provided a unique insight into the history of the pioneers who traveled along the Santa Fe, Oregon, and California Trails.
