I had the opportunity to visit Invercargill last summer and I was pleasantly surprised by how much there is to do there. A highlight for me was visiting the Southland Museum and Art Gallery. The museum has a fantastic collection of Maori artifacts and exhibits on the local history. Another must-visit is the Classic Motorcycle Mecca. It's a world-class motorcycle museum with an incredible collection of classic bikes. The museum also has a wonderful cafe where you can relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. Invercargill is a hidden gem in New Zealand, with so many exciting things to see and do.
