I had such a memorable trip to Kuranda and wanted to share my favorite things to do there. One of the highlights for me was visiting the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary. Walking through the tropical enclosure surrounded by thousands of colorful butterflies was simply magical. Another must-do activity is visiting the Rainforestation Nature Park. I loved getting close to native wildlife like crocodiles and koalas, and the Army Duck tour was such a unique experience. Lastly, don't miss out on exploring the Kuranda Village. I recently visited Kuranda and had an amazing time exploring all the wonderful things to do there! The first thing I recommend is taking the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. The views were absolutely breathtaking and it was such a unique way to see the rainforest. After that, I highly recommend visiting the Kuranda Koala Gardens. Getting to hold a koala was a dream come true and I also got to see kangaroos and other native Australian animals. Lastly, don't miss out on the Kuranda Scenic Railway. The train ride was so scenic and informative, I learned so much about the history of the area. Overall, Kuranda is a must-visit destination for nature lovers!
