The park offers a variety of hiking trails that take you through dense forests, marshes, and open fields. It's a great place to get some exercise and connect with nature. Another highlight of my trip was visiting Matawan's local winery, 4JG's Orchards and Vineyards. They offer tastings of their delicious wines, and you can also take a tour of their charming vineyard. It was a great way to spend an afternoon, enjoying some fantastic wine and beautiful views.

Oh, Matawan, my hometown! There are so many wonderful things to do in Matawan, NJ. One of my favorites is visiting the Cheese Cave, a charming little shop that sells the most delicious artisanal cheeses. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and always recommends the perfect pairings. Another great activity is taking a stroll along the Henry Hudson Trail. This scenic path winds through Matawan's beautiful countryside and is perfect for biking, jogging, or just enjoying nature. And of course, you can't visit Matawan without stopping by the Matawan Historical Society's Museum. It's filled with fascinating exhibits about the town's history and is a must-visit for anyone interested in local lore.
