Moose Jaw is a small city located in Saskatchewan, Canada. Although it may be tiny, it has a rich history that has left a mark on its many visitors year after year. One of the most fascinating and popular attractions in Moose Jaw is the Tunnels of Moose Jaw, also known as the Chinese tunnels.

The tunnels are located underground and were originally built to connect various buildings throughout the city, such as businesses, residences, and even the local jail. The Tunnels of Moose Jaw tour is a guided journey through time, as visitors are taken through the tunnels and shown how they were used during different periods in Moose Jaw's history. Guests learn about the city's ties to outlawed activities, including the role that the Chinese community played in the tunnels, which were used to smuggle in Chinese immigrants during a time when they were not welcomed in Canada.

One of the most popular tours of the tunnels is the Chicago Connection, which takes visitors through the pathways that were used by Al Capone and his gang during their time in Moose Jaw. During this tour, visitors experience the thrill of being in a speakeasy and learn fascinating facts about the city's role during prohibition.

Another popular tour is the Passage to Fortune, which brings visitors through the tunnels through which Chinese immigrants were smuggled into the city, in a hidden underground network that allowed them to avoid the discriminatory policies against them at the time.

The Tunnels of Moose Jaw are a fascinating and educational experience that offer visitors a chance to learn about the city's unique history. This Canadian city, with its humble size and population, still has so much to offer. So, if you're looking for a unique experience that will leave you feeling inspired, be sure to take a trip to Moose Jaw and visit the Tunnels!
