My family and I had a great time in Mount Vernon. One of the highlights of our trip was going on a boat tour along the Potomac River. The views were stunning and it was so relaxing to be out on the water. We also visited the Mount Vernon Distillery and Gristmill, where we learned about the process of making whiskey and cornmeal. It was a unique experience that we all enjoyed. We also made sure to visit the farmers market in town and try some of the local produce. Mount Vernon is a great place to spend a day or even a weekend!
