The slopes are perfect for all skill levels and the views from the top are simply breathtaking. I also had a blast ice fishing on Lake Superior. The frozen lake provided the perfect setting for a peaceful day on the ice, and I even caught a few fish! Don't forget to warm up with a cup of hot cocoa at one of the cozy cafes in town. Munising truly offers something for everyone in the winter.

Munising, MI is a winter wonderland! I had a blast going on a snowshoeing adventure in the Hiawatha National Forest. The peacefulness of the forest covered in a blanket of snow was truly magical. Another highlight was taking a scenic drive along the Alger County Snowmobile Trail. The snow-covered trees and frozen lakes made for some incredible photo opportunities. If you're into wildlife, I highly recommend visiting the Seney National Wildlife Refuge and going on a guided winter wildlife tour. It was an incredible opportunity to see bald eagles, deer, and even wolves in their natural habitat.
