I recently visited Oberammergau and it was such a charming little town! One of my favorite things to do there was to explore the Ettal Abbey. The architecture is absolutely stunning and the interior is equally impressive. I also loved strolling through the town's narrow streets and admiring the beautiful frescoes on the houses. There are also plenty of shops selling traditional Bavarian crafts and souvenirs. Overall, Oberammergau is a perfect destination for anyone looking to experience the rich culture and history of the region.

During my visit to Oberammergau, I made sure to attend the famous Passion Play. It only takes place once every ten years, so I consider myself lucky to have witnessed this incredible theatrical production. The passion and talent of the actors were truly remarkable, and the storytelling was powerful. Another highlight for me was hiking up to the Laber mountain. The panoramic views from the top were breathtaking, and there's also a cozy restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious meal while soaking in the scenery.

Oberammergau is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts like myself. One of my favorite activities there was exploring the Ammer Gorge. The hiking trail offered stunning views of the river and the surrounding mountains, and there were also several opportunities to spot wildlife along the way. I also had a blast renting a bike and cycling through the picturesque countryside. The well-maintained cycling routes took me through lush meadows, charming villages, and even past some quaint farms where I got to interact with friendly locals. Oberammergau truly has something for everyone!
