I recently had the pleasure of visiting Puerto Maldonado and I cannot recommend it enough! One of my favorite things to do there was to take a boat ride along the Madre de Dios River. The beauty of the Amazon rainforest surrounding the river is absolutely breathtaking. I also had the opportunity to visit the Tambopata National Reserve and go on a guided hike through the jungle. It was such an incredible experience to see all the different wildlife and learn about the diverse ecosystem. If you're an adventurous nature lover like me, Puerto Maldonado is definitely a must-visit destination!
