Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica is a hidden gem and there are so many things to do there. One of my favorite things to do was to rent a bike and explore the local area. The town is so charming and biking along the coastline was such a memorable experience. Another must-do activity is to visit the Jaguar Rescue Center. They do amazing work rehabilitating and releasing injured animals back into the wild. I got to see monkeys, sloths, and even a baby jaguar up close. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
