The San Diego Zoo's Jungle Bells event is also one of my favorite holiday activities. The festive light displays and live music add to the holiday spirit, and meeting Santa is always a special treat. And of course, the beaches in San Diego are always a must-visit, even in December. The mild weather and beautiful coastal views make it a perfect place to relax and recharge. December is such a wonderful time to be in San Diego! One of my favorite things to do is to visit the Christmas Tree at the Old Town State Historic Park. It's such a festive atmosphere with carolers, live performances, and of course, the beautiful tree. Another activity I love is attending the annual December Nights event at Liberty Station. They have amazing food vendors, live music, and even an ice rink. Lastly, I highly recommend checking out the holiday lights display at the San Diego Botanic Garden. They have thousands of twinkling lights and it's such a magical experience. There's no shortage of festive activities to enjoy in San Diego in December!

I absolutely love visiting San Diego in December! One of my favorite things to do is to go ice skating at the Hotel del Coronado's outdoor rink. It's such a magical experience, skating by the beach and enjoying the holiday decorations. Another must-do activity is checking out the annual December Nights event at Balboa Park. The park is transformed into a winter wonderland with festive lights and live performances. Lastly, I highly recommend taking a whale watching tour during this time of the year. It's the perfect opportunity to see the magnificent gray whales as they migrate along the coast. December in San Diego is truly a special time filled with unforgettable experiences.
