The restaurant's founder, Atlanta chef Ford Fry, has a passion for Mexican food that began when he worked in a Mexican restaurant as a teenager. He has since traveled extensively throughout Mexico to learn about regional cuisine and techniques, and he brings that expertise to Superica.

Highlights of the menu include the street-style tacos, served on homemade corn tortillas and filled with a variety of savory meats, including slow-cooked barbacoa, spicy chorizo, and tender carnitas. For something heartier, try the carne asada or grilled pork chop, both cooked to perfection and served with flavorful sides like black beans and rice or charred corn.

One of the best ways to experience Superica is to start with one of their famous margaritas. The drinks are made with fresh-squeezed lime juice and premium ingredients, and come in a variety of flavors, from classic to spicy to fruity.

The restaurant's interior is just as impressive as the food and drink, with a colorful, eclectic decor that reflects the spirit of Mexican culture. Whether you're seated at the bar or in the cozy dining room, you'll feel transported to a lively cantina somewhere south of the border.

If you're in the mood for an authentic Mexican dining experience, Superica should definitely be on your list of must-visit restaurants in South End Charlotte. With its fresh, flavorful cuisine, creative cocktails, and vibrant atmosphere, it's the perfect place to enjoy a night out with friends or a romantic dinner for two.

I recently visited South End Charlotte and had an amazing time exploring the neighborhood. One of my favorite things to do was to check out the different breweries in the area. The craft beer scene in South End is buzzing, and I enjoyed trying out the different brews at places like Sycamore Brewing and Unknown Brewing Co. Another highlight for me was visiting Atherton Mill and Market. It's a great spot to grab a coffee at Not Just Coffee, browse through local artisan goods, and even pick up some fresh produce at the farmers market. Overall, South End Charlotte offers a vibrant and energetic atmosphere with plenty to see and do!
