If you're a nature lover, the South Island of NZ is a dream come true. One of my favorite things to do was to hike the Hooker Valley Track in Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park. The trail offers incredible views of the Southern Alps and glaciers. Another must-do activity is taking a scenic boat tour in Milford Sound. The towering cliffs and waterfalls are a sight to behold.
