I visited Sparta, TN last summer and had an amazing time exploring the beautiful nature in the area. One of the must-do activities is visiting Burgess Falls State Park. The waterfalls there are absolutely breathtaking! I also recommend checking out the Historic Liberty Square in downtown Sparta.
