The Myrtles Plantation was definitely a highlight - the guided tour was informative and gave a fascinating look into the history of the area. I also highly recommend visiting the St. Francisville Steamboat Museum - it's a hidden gem that provides a unique insight into the steamboat era. And of course, no trip to St. Francisville would be complete without a visit to the beautiful Rosedown Plantation State Historic Site. The gardens are simply breathtaking!
