I recently had the pleasure of spending a weekend in Stony Brook and it was incredible! I highly recommend visiting the Avalon Park & Preserve. It's such a beautiful and tranquil place to spend time in nature. The walking trails are well-maintained and there are even some ponds and bridges to admire along the way. Another must-do in Stony Brook is visiting the Long Island Museum. They have a fantastic collection of art and history exhibits that truly showcase the culture of the area. Overall, my time in Stony Brook was filled with adventure and relaxation. I can't wait to go back!
