Traverse City is the perfect winter getaway! The skiing and snowboarding options in the area are top-notch. I visited Traverse City last winter and it was a winter wonderland! One of my favorite things to do was to go snowshoeing through the beautiful trails in the area. The scenery was breathtaking and it was so peaceful. I also loved exploring the downtown area and checking out all the unique shops and restaurants.
