Unawatuna is a paradise for beach lovers like me! One of my favorite activities there was taking a surf lesson. The waves in Unawatuna are perfect for beginners and there are plenty of surf schools where you can learn how to catch a wave. If you're more into relaxing, you can simply rent a sunbed and soak up the sun on the beautiful beach. Don't forget to try some of the delicious fresh fruit sold by the beach vendors, it's so refreshing! Unawatuna is also known for its vibrant nightlife, with beach parties and live music events happening regularly. It's the perfect destination for a fun-filled holiday!

I just came back from Unawatuna and I can't recommend it enough! One of the highlights of my trip was visiting the Japanese Peace Pagoda. It's a stunning white structure nestled on a hill, and the views from there are absolutely spectacular. Another must-do in Unawatuna is taking a boat ride to see the famous stilt fishermen. These fishermen balance on stilts out in the water, and it's truly a sight to behold. Lastly, make sure to check out the Jungle Beach, a hidden gem located a short walk away from the main beach. It's a secluded spot with calm waters and lush greenery all around. Unawatuna has so much to offer, you won't be disappointed!
