I recently visited Wheeling, West Virginia for a weekend getaway and I was pleasantly surprised by all the fun things to do! One highlight of my trip was taking a ride on the historic Wheeling Suspension Bridge. It's the oldest operating suspension bridge in the United States and the views from the bridge were incredible. I also recommend visiting the Kruger Street Toy & Train Museum. It's a hidden gem filled with nostalgic toys and model trains that will bring out the kid in anyone. If you're a history buff, don't miss the chance to tour the impressive West Virginia Independence Hall. It's a great way to learn about the state's history and heritage.

Oh my goodness, I just visited Wheeling, West Virginia last summer and I had the most amazing time! One of my favorite things to do was exploring the historic Centre Market district. It was like stepping back in time with all the charming shops and local produce. I also loved taking a stroll along the Ohio Riverfront and enjoying the beautiful views. And of course, no visit to Wheeling is complete without a visit to the famous Oglebay Resort and Conference Center. The gardens were absolutely stunning! I can't wait to go back and explore even more of what Wheeling has to offer.

I grew up in Wheeling, West Virginia and there is so much to see and do in this charming city! One of my favorite activities is exploring the beautiful Wheeling Island Park and Wildlife Refuge. It's the perfect place for a picnic or a relaxing walk along the trails. Another must-visit spot is the Capitol Theatre. They always have amazing shows and concerts that are not to be missed. And of course, you can't leave Wheeling without trying some of the delicious local cuisine. DiCarlo's Pizza is a local institution known for their unique and delicious pizza. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
