I recently had a weekend getaway in Yemassee, SC and was pleasantly surprised by all the fun things to do. One of the highlights was visiting the Harold's Country Club for a delicious southern-style meal. The fried chicken and macaroni and cheese were to die for! Another must-do activity is exploring the Lower Congo Wildlife Management Area. The hiking trails offer beautiful views of the surrounding landscape, and we even spotted some deer along the way. Yemassee is definitely a hidden gem with so much to offer. I can't wait to go back and try more of the local attractions!

I visited Yemassee, SC last summer and had a great time exploring all the things to do in the area. One of my favorite activities was visiting the Old Sheldon Church Ruins. It was so interesting to learn about the history of the church and see the beautiful architecture up close. Another highlight was taking a kayak tour on the Combahee River. The scenery was breathtaking, and our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the local wildlife. Overall, Yemassee is a charming town with plenty of activities to keep you entertained!
