I recently had a layover at Charles de Gaulle Airport and was pleasantly surprised to find so many things to do nearby. One of my favorite activities was visiting the gorgeous Parc Asterix, which is just a short drive from the airport. The roller coasters and shows were so much fun and it was a great way to spend a few hours. I also enjoyed exploring the nearby town of Roissy-en-France, which has some charming shops and cafes. Overall, I was impressed with the variety of attractions near the airport and it made my layover much more enjoyable.

If you're looking for something a little more low-key near Charles de Gaulle Airport, I highly recommend checking out the Aeroville Shopping Center. It's just a short distance away and has a fantastic selection of shops and restaurants. I spent a few hours browsing the stores and then enjoyed a delicious meal at one of the many restaurants. The atmosphere was great and it was a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the airport. If you have some time to spare, definitely consider visiting Aeroville.
