I recently visited Deer Creek State Park and had an amazing time exploring the surrounding areas! One of the top things to do near the park is visiting The Dawes Arboretum. It's just a short drive away and offers beautiful gardens and walking trails. I highly recommend taking a picnic and spending a few hours exploring the peaceful surroundings. Another great activity is checking out the nearby Historic Downtown Canal Winchester. It's a charming area with quaint shops, delicious restaurants, and even a winery. It's the perfect place to unwind and grab a bite to eat after a day of outdoor adventures at Deer Creek State Park.
