When I was at Fort Leonard Wood, MO, I made sure to explore all the local attractions. One of my favorite things to do was to visit Roubidoux Springs, which is known for its clear blue waters. It's perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or just enjoying the peacefulness of nature. Another must-see spot is the Uranus Fudge Factory and General Store (yes, you read that right!). It's definitely a quirky and fun place to visit, and they have delicious fudge too. Finally, if you're a fan of golfing, I highly recommend checking out Piney Valley Golf Course. The course is well-maintained, and the views are stunning. Trust me, you won't regret it!

Hey there! I recently visited Fort Leonard Wood, MO and had an amazing time exploring the surrounding area. One of my favorite things to do was to visit the Mark Twain National Forest, which is just a short drive away. The hiking trails there are absolutely breathtaking, and it's a great way to spend a day outdoors. Another must-do activity is checking out the Big Piney River, where you can go canoeing, kayaking, or even just relax by the water. Lastly, if you're a history buff like me, I highly recommend visiting the Pulaski County Museum. They have fascinating exhibits that highlight the rich military history of the area. Definitely worth a visit!
