I recently visited the University of Maryland, and one of the things that surprised me was the abundance of fun activities to do nearby. One of my favorite things was exploring the College Park Aviation Museum, where I got to see vintage aircraft and learn about the history of aviation. I recently moved to the College Park area to be closer to the University of Maryland, and I couldn't be happier with the variety of activities available. One hidden gem that I discovered is the Milk and Honey Café, a cozy little spot that serves amazing brunch and has a great selection of craft beers. On weekends, I love going for a hike in the nearby Patuxent Research Refuge, where I can enjoy the beautiful nature and spot wildlife. As a current student at the University of Maryland, I can confidently say that there is never a dull moment when it comes to things to do near campus. One of my go-to activities is heading over to the College Park Farmers Market, where I can pick up fresh produce and enjoy live music. For a fun night out, I love going to The Board and Brew, which is a board game café located just a short walk away. They have an incredible selection of games and delicious food.
