As a local resident of DC, I love escaping the city and heading to the nearby wineries in Virginia. One of my favorites is Paradise Springs Winery, which is located just a short drive from DC. They have a great selection of wines and a beautiful outdoor seating area where you can relax and enjoy the views. Another great option is visiting Old Town Alexandria. It's a charming little town with cobblestone streets, cute shops, and delicious restaurants. It's the perfect place to spend a day outside of the hustle and bustle of the city.
