During my visit to Pigeon Forge, I made sure to check out Dollywood. This theme park is a must-visit for anyone looking for a fun-filled day outside of Pigeon Forge. The roller coasters and attractions were top-notch, and there was something for everyone to enjoy. I also had a great time trying out some of the local food in the nearby town of Gatlinburg. The restaurants had delicious Southern comfort food and provided a nice change of pace from the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge.

If you're looking for a unique outdoor experience near Pigeon Forge, I highly recommend visiting the Forbidden Caverns. This underground cave system offers guided tours where you can learn about the history and geology of the caves. The formations inside the caves are incredible, and the tour was both educational and fun. Another outdoor activity I enjoyed was horseback riding in the Smoky Mountains.
