We also enjoyed a boat ride on the Pride of the Susquehanna Riverboat, taking in the beautiful views of the river and its surrounding scenery. Harrisburg truly offers a wide range of activities that are both educational and entertaining for kids of all ages!

I recently took my kids to Harrisburg, PA and we had such a blast exploring all the family-friendly activities in the area. We started our day at the Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts, where my kids got to engage in hands-on exhibits and even catch a movie in the 3D cinema. We then headed to the State Museum of Pennsylvania, where my children were fascinated by the exhibits on the state's history and natural environment. To end our day, we visited the City Island amusement park, where my kids enjoyed riding the carousel and bumper boats. I highly recommend Harrisburg as a great destination for a fun-filled family outing!
