Marty's Time-Traveling Adventure Day

In the 1985 film Back to the Future, Marty McFly travels back in time to November 5, 1955, the day his eccentric scientist friend Doc Brown first came up with the concept of the flux capacitor, which enables time travel. After accidentally preventing his future parents from falling in love, threatening his own existence, Marty has to get them together again before he can return to 1985.

In the sequel, Back to the Future Part II, Marty travels to October 21, 2015, to save his future son from a life of crime.

Marty travels to 1955

The plan goes awry when Biff's gang locks Marty in the trunk of the performing band's car. After Biff hurts Lorraine, an enraged George knocks him unconscious and escorts Lorraine to the dance. The band frees Marty from their car, and he takes the guitarist's place, performing while his parents share their first kiss.

Marty, along with Doc, Jennifer and Einstein, arrive in 2015 on a Wednesday afternoon in Hill Valley, at 4:29 pm on 21 October 2015, to be precise. They spend about three hours in 2015 before Marty leaves at 7:28 pm.

Marty has been awake for a little more than three hours, but the time of his arrival is 9:00 pm in the alternate 1985. He is then knocked unconscious by Biff's gang and awakes at Biff's hotel suite two hours later.
