Las Vegas is certainly known for its glitz and glamor, but it may not seem like the most family-friendly destination – especially when traveling with small children. But that’s not to say you can’t find fun for the whole family while in Sin City! One such attraction that both adults and children can enjoy is the roller coaster at New York-New York Hotel & Casino.

Located on the Las Vegas Strip, New York-New York Hotel & Casino is a hotel and casino complex that features a replica of the New York City skyline, complete with the Empire State Building and Statue of Liberty. And what better way to experience New York City than to ride a roller coaster that whips you around the city’s iconic landmarks? That’s exactly what you’ll find on the roller coaster here.

But what about traveling with a toddler? The good news is that children as young as 54 inches can ride the roller coaster at New York-New York. So, if your toddler is big enough to meet the height requirement, they can certainly ride it too – though it’s understandable if you’re feeling a bit apprehensive!

If you’re unsure about how your toddler will react to a roller coaster, take some time to prepare them in advance. Watch videos of the coaster and talk about how it works and what to expect. You may even want to start with smaller rides before jumping into a full-on coaster.

When it’s time to ride, keep in mind that toddlers can have different reactions to thrill rides than older children or adults. While some may absolutely love it, others may be scared or overwhelmed – and that’s okay! Be sure to have a game plan beforehand for how you’ll handle it if your toddler becomes nervous or wants to stop mid-ride.

Once you’ve safely ridden the roller coaster at New York-New York Hotel & Casino with your toddler, celebrate the experience by taking a stroll around the resort’s other offerings. Window-shop along the faux New York City streets, grab a bite to eat at one of the restaurants or take some cute family photos with the iconic landmarks in the background.

In conclusion, Las Vegas with a toddler isn’t always top of mind, but the roller coaster at New York-New York Hotel & Casino can be a thrilling and memorable experience for everyone. With some careful planning and preparation, you can introduce your toddler to the excitement of theme park-style rides without leaving the city limits.
